I have no idea why this affected me so. It's a short animation. I think...it's about a bird who always wanted to know what it was like to fly, because for some reason he couldn't. So he goes to a tall mountain or cliff, and nails trees to the side...then he jumps off and plummets, presumably to his death. The second version is done to the song at the end of Donnie Darko "Mad World", which is even worse. That song makes me cry anyhow.

Watching the "Mad World" one, I felt this terrible heaviness in my chest, which manifested into fear, that I am going to flunk this horribly hard class, and it will feel like a bird having his dream come true before he commits suicide.
